Julie Sawatzky is a passionate, talented, self-taught photographer whose path has taken her from trained stylist and make-up artist to a full-time career shooting fine art wedding photos, boudoir sessions, lifestyle shoots and style shoots.
Julie Sawatzky has styled and photographed over 350 boudoir sessions since 2012, making her among the busiest photographers in the area to offer these unique, empowering, romantic shoots.
Her studio specializes in women’s, men’s, and couples’ boudoir sessions and as well as beauty portraiture, maternity sessions, bridal boudoir and tasteful artistic nudes and full styling.

This may be because after shooting these sessions for 7+ years, Julie knows that the experience of posing for alluring, sexy, romantic, teasing photos is absolutely unlike posing for any other type of shoot!
Lush & Lace Sessions aren’t only about the combination of planning, wardrobe, styling, and photography with killer images. They’re also a means to empower women to feel sexy, gorgeous, and confident, no matter what shape, size or age they are. But not without a little fun along the way.
As a professional boudoir photographer, Julie will create amazing images all the while making you laugh and feel completely comfortable. “Don’t worry… I will coach you through every move so that you won’t have to worry about the dreaded ‘duck lips’ or feeling awkward in front of the camera!”
Lush & Lace Sessions have the option of including Julie’s hand-chosen team of makeup artists and stylists. “Our team of makeup artists really gets the meaning of “all dolled up”… They have the boudoir look down to a T and they will work with you to create the perfect look.”
